Ok so I’m working on my story and I’m not having luck. I wad thinking about disney and noticed that lots of their princess movies had fairies. Mushu was the fairy for mulan. Etc for the rest popular ones. Are we allowed to incorporate a fairy? I think I’m over thinking all of this.

Tuesday class

Posted by on 13 May 2009 | Tagged as: Afterthoughts, Extra credit opportunity

We watched some clips on Culture Clash and Margaret Cho. Culture class was a television show in the 80′s that was about 3 latinos depicting stereotypes on the media. It was funny. Margaret Cho is an Asian-American comedian and she was commenting on her life growning up with her own show and how the media industry almost ruled her life. She was funny and serious about it. We had a brief commentary on our Final project. If you have any questions about it, you can comment here or email Prof. Gallardo.

5/15 – edited by Susana to say that this Margaret Cho show, I’m the One That I Want was released in 2000 – the TV show she talks about was “All American Girl” on for 19 episodes in 1994-95. Culture Clash was on Fox for two seasons from 1993-95.
